Notting Hill Apartment
This grown–up girl–about–town apartment had to be stylish and chic, and with a sense of fun. We collaborated with our client to combine her strong style and decadent eye, with practical ideas for everyday living. The result is a home that is both great for entertaining, as well as a comfortable retreat from the busy world.
The huge curved walls in the drawing room were hand–painted by our friend, artist Georgia Lindsay in pearlescent paint with a large Fortuny–inspired pattern, perfect for the grand scale of the room. The stunning chinoiserie in the master bedroom is by Fromental and was hand–painted on silk to our colour-way complementing the scheme of dark wood and mirror, with a deeply feminine flourish of pink.
